Hordes and Heroes
The extensive and ever growing 10mm fantasy range produced by Kallistra Ltd has been joined by a number of new models and received for review have been a selection of bad guys.

The first are tormented souls, a pack of twisted and robed spirits rising from the ground and a variety of of poses illustrating the agony that they are experiencing, imprisoned in the service of some dark master. Clad in hooded shrouds these creatures are very finely detailed with the folds of cloth, or other ephemeral material deeply cast, and simply thirsting for a wash of acrylic. Excellent!

Accompanying these denizens of the spirit world is some very heavy metal in the form of a pack of Dark Elf cavalry. Riding on barded horses and carrying hefty long bladed lances these impressive characters will add real umph to an army of Chaos.

I asked my son for his opinion of these models, as he has his own collection of Warhammer characters, His response was to grab the review models, and send off an order for some orcs, and I think that just about says it all, these models are very highly recommended and are an excellent alternative to the hugely expensive Games Workshop fantasy ranges.
