Recently received for review are a selection of figures from a new manufacturer Glen Brooks. The range represents the modern British army and are in a true 28mm scale.
These are some of the nicest looking figures representing moderns I have seen for some time. The body proportions are accurate, the facial detail good, and the range of positions cover those necessary for most games. At first sight it may be that these chaps look overloaded with equipment, but speaking from personal experience I know that the loads shown are accurate.

All the casting received were neat and required only the minimum of filing on the base. Some gentle adjustments were needed for some figures to stand unaided, but this is no real problem.

The range includes riflemen equipped with the controversial SA80, heavier fire from Light Support Weapons, and the anti armour 94mm LAW ( LAW teams come with separate SA80 rifle, closed and open LAW). Priced individually at £1 per figure, you can also buy a Fireteam pack of four figures at £3.50.
