I have received details of a new range of 28mm figures for the Modern British Army, that sound very interesting indeed. They have been produced by Glen Brooks who himself left the forces two years ago after thirteen years service.

Glenn was a section commander and instructor in weapons and tactics, so if anyone should know how modern fighting men look, its him.

The current range cover British troops, and come either as Fireteams, at £3.50 a pack of three riflemen figures plus a 94mm LAWand a LSW, or as individual figures at £1 each. Currently there are 5 different Fireteams, and 18 individual figures available. Watch out for a review of these shortly in the pages of Wargames Forum.

The next project for Glen is a range of Taliban fighters, and he is interrogating contacts in his old unit, recently returned from Kabul, for details to be reflected in the range, which should make them worth waiting for.
