The latest releases from Brooks Miniatures take us to the blood soaked passes of Afghanistan and the opposing forces of the Taliban and Northern Alliance. The designer has had access to first hand information from members of the armed forces recently serving in the region. Their photos and reports have ensured that this range are spot on for accuracy and from that point of view I very much doubt that any other range currently available approaches these models.

The figures themselves are true 25mm in scale, and the detail is not only clearly engraved but is particularly fine on the weapons, I have never seen a finer RPG7, except in full size. I have no problem in highly recommending this range.

In the same package of figures was a small group of British Infantry in helmet which expand the already excellent range. I particularly liked the kneeling figure firing the 5.56mm Light Support weapon, very nice indeed. The figures sell at £1 each or are available in packs of 4 for £3.50.
