First Thoughts



Ooer missus!!! I Given Four figures for review, five if you count the two ladies “at play” on the one base, one stood behind the other fondling the others naughty bits!

Each of the figures are in various states of undress or in fact totally nude, all have ample assets and all are very shapely.

The first lady I looked at wears a Basque, which is undone at the top revealing her ample breasts and erect nipples for all to see.

The straps and whale bone supports along with the laces are nice little details that help set off this delightful model.

The frilled bloomers are a nice touch and the cuts and grooves of the folds and creases are well defined.

The next “pair”, (excuse the pun!), were the two ladies “at play”, one, (the Vampire), stood behind the other lady and is in the position of playing with the front ladies breast and fondling her nether regions whilst in a “about to bite” pose, the front lady obviously oblivious to the impending bite, is in what looks to be , a state of enjoyment. Her dress is pulled slightly down revealing one breast and the lower half has been hitched up, again hair face hands and dress are well defined and their will certainly be enough to work with when it comes down to the painting bit!

Next up was the, well I can only describe this one as a dominatrix or mistress type figure, just minus the whip! She wears a very skimpy swimming type costume which looks rather tight, and a pair of high heeled knee length boots.

She is posed in the head back, hands stroking her hair type pose.

Her face is very detailed and gives the painter plenty to work with, her slightly open mouth with Vampire teeth showing clearly, ( this one should be fun to paint!).

The final lady doesn’t seem to be has well cut as the others as far as the facial detail is concerned, which is to me a little strange as the rest of the figure is to a very good standard, but as always the proof is in the pudding and we’ll see what happens when the paint goes on!

As I have already said the rest of the figure is well detailed right down to the links of the chains and shackles which bind her behind her back, there is also a metal band shackle around her neck.



Flash



All the figures had a little flash on them but this was very easily removed, also a couple did have mould lines but again, care and patience removed this quite easily.

Their were a couple however that did have a lead stud on the bottom of the base, this was fairly thick and a little time spent with a modeling drill or dremmel, with a grinding disk is needed to make short work of this.



Painting

Well once the undercoat was on it was start your engines, I couldn’t wait to get started! No it wasn’t because of the subjects being rude, it was due to a case of I’ve never done anything like these before and I thought they would be a good challenge.

I wasn’t disappointed! Each were a challenge in their own right, and trying to work out what would be the right colour eye shadow to put with the right colour hair ect… well I’ll be honest the wife helped me with that bit, (Cheers Gill!), 

I did spend a bit of time in the eye shadow department and treated the girls to three highlights on this, I think it looks ok myself, Never done this type of thing before so that’s novel eh?



Final Thoughts

The only one of the models I wasn’t happy with and that was the lady in the shackles reason, well as I said earlier her face wasn’t all that detailed and I didn’t have much to work with, tried my best though and I suppose someone who can spend more time on the model could do a better job. 

Apart from that one complaint the figures were nice to paint, can’t say this was due to the novel nature of the subjects as they really were good to paint.



For the Dominatrix I rate her as 10/10

The “ladies at play” again a good score 10/10

The lady in the Basque 9/10, I felt her nipples were far too large and if the figure was scaled up to full size they would stand out nearly as big as her thumbs!

Finally the lady in the shackles, this may I suppose seem a little unfair but out of the four I looked at she had the worst facial detail, even with a good amount of work I was still not happy with the finish as I’d had to paint features into it which in my opinion should have been their to begin with, but the rest of the figure was excellent. I therefore give an unfortunate overall score on this model 6/10.
