Fraser McLean

It is with great sadness that I must pass on that I heard this weekend of the death of Fraser McLean, of POP Enterprises.

Fraser has been unwell for some time, which led to him closing down the POP Enterprises shop in Nottingham, and the website, last year. He lost his last battle with that illness earlier in the week in hospital in Nottingham.

Fraser was a kind and generous man who had supported Partizan for many years, always ready with a quick witted remark, and he brought a lot of youngsters into the hobby by showing them the range of possibilities that wargaming has to offer. His 'shark-free zone' at the shop was a welcome haven for wargamers, and I rarely left the shop without a purchase or two, and had a good few bargains over the years from him.

Wargaming has lost another great character, and he will be sadly missed.
