Dungeon Dudes Update to v1.1 Now Complete
All 50 online Dungeon Dude "Not Just Another Virtual Pet" characters have been updated to v1.1 to make them forward compatible with the many changes that will occur over the next year. 

Dungeon What? Dungeon Dudes...Dude. They are FREE online trainable characters, similar to virtual pets, but with role-playing game style advancements. Hosted by Dimensions Game Software ( http://www.dimensionsgamesoftware.com ), they hit the internet and began their quest for world domination on September 30, 2003. Now that they are turning one-year old, it is time they learned a few new developmental skills. Over the course of the next 365 days, many exciting things are planned. Yes, the Dungeon Dudes "Not Just Another Virtual Pet" will still be available for free at http://www.dungeondude.com . However, a Deluxe Basic Set, featuring 10 new characters, will be released for offline use and sold through RPGNOW.com. 

Other additions that will likely be seen before their second birthday are expanded reference charts, added utility to the skills and items system, a Magic Shop, a Store, an 'auto-explore' function, more new characters, new online scenarios featuring graphics tiles, Fudge RPG conversion rules, and expanded offline games and rules. Promotional sets have been created for an RPG supplement, a board game, miniature carrying cases, and adventure map tiles. The Dungeon Dudes Network has been steadily growing and attracting visitors with a wide array of related interests: pen-and-paper role-playing games, board games, comic books, computer games, virtual pets, and miniatures games.
