New to the library of Warhammer is this volume that gives you all the details you could wish for about the Beastmen. These are creatures created by the evil of Chaos and who dwell in the deep, lost forest regions, coming out to raid without mercy the dwelling places of men.
The publication follows the familiar Warhammer format, with sections detailing the mythology and history of the Beastmen race, and introducing special rules and amendments to the Warhammer rules, allowing you to integrate these creatures into your games. Particularly impressive is the section on collecting a Beastman army, which as usual contains a fine selection of colour pics of beautifully painted models. This section also contains brief hints on painting the models, where I at least need all the help I can get.
The final part of the book covers Army organisation, special powers, a selection of banner patterns, and magic spells. An absolute much for anyone considering building a beastly army... or for anyone who may find themselves facing one.
