The
Box!
At First Glance a very impressive box! Catches the eye shows you what its used for, on the side is a list of paints that can be stored on this carrousel and it pretty much covers all paints (over 30 listed on the box), lets face it, if its round and its not the size of a tyre its going to fit.
One of the benefits of this carrousel is its not just usable by painters but other arts and crafts to store glues, threads etc. The possibilities are endless.
So to the contents, in the box you will get the four levels of the carrousel, one piece is so obviously the bottom with the lazy jenny on the bottom and one the top with various size holes for your brushes (count em 16 I don’t own that many brushes). The other two, well its imagination time. There are also 6 plastic tubes 3 X 3inch and 3 X 4inch and 5metal rods.
The main reason for all these bits, (because as you can tell there are too many) is you can have the carrousel set at different levels from approx 15 inch to 18 inch total height, and with a base diameter of 11.5 inch it doesn’t take up too much room.
This is an easy product to assemble, the instructions are easy to follow really only giving you four different set up options. The main thing to get right is the strengthening bar that goes through the middle, I had to attempt it twice before I got them together but even then I don’t think it took more than about five minutes to assemble and it looks impressive.
Now for the real test!
Well the picture speaks a thousand words,
Not only is it keeping my paints in check it even inspired me to clean my work bench up (that takes some doing).
This gives your work area a more professional look and I actually found some models that I forgot I had, people coming into the shop were impressed too, unfortunately it inspired one gent to try and buy my paints, which I suppose could be another use!
Well what can I say without gushing too much, its impressive to look at, versatile, and functional (holds between 64 and 120 paints), it has the ability to hold up to 16 brushes, its easy to assemble and if you get bigger pots etc you can always change the height of the shelving. In the UK Veni Vidi Vici distributes it at a cost of £38.85 plus £7.50 P+P, now it sounds a lot but this would be a one-time purchase and assuming that you are not going to throw it around should last a long time and pay for itself eventually
Happy Painting
