Hi, my name is David Ross. In August, we are hosting our annual
gaming convention, FlatCon. Our goal is to demonstrate and promote
a variety of fun and educational games to new and existing players. Some of the activities we will be hosting this August include Role-Playing,
Miniatures, Card Games, Board Games, Anime and Painting Lessons!
Based on 2002 and interest expressed so far, we are planning on 350 people attending this event. Please visit the website www.flatcon.com
for pictures and information from last year, as well as breaking news for this year.
We would like to have your game products represented at this year's convention. Door prizes from sponsoring game companies have been
a huge success. Our convention staff would appreciate any fliers, catalogues, and give-away product for this year's event. Your sponsorship
will be included in the event booklet and on the website. After the convention a program booklet will be made available to your company.
You can become involved in any number of ways, including:
1. Prize giveaways
All companies sending merchandise to be included in door prizes
or tournaments will be listed as a sponsor in the program booklet and websites.
Ad space will be given in the program booklet depending on the retail value of the merchandise:
$15 -- Eighth page (2.438" x 5.125")
$25 -- Quarter Page (3.875" x 5.125")
$50 -- Half Page Horizontal or Vertical (8" x 5.125" or 3.875" x 10.5")
$100 -- Full Page (8" x 10.5")
$250 -- Inside front or back cover
$250 -- First or last full page
$300 --Back page
Advertisements will be placed in the priority of past sponsorship,
and then order received. If you have camera-ready artwork, please
ensure it meets our advertising requirements: PDF -- include all
fonts, no passwords or encryption, EPS -- include all fonts, TIFF,
GIF, JPEG format 300 dpi or higher for IBM PC, you may email this
directly to flatcon@flatcon.com. The program booklet will be printed
in grey-scale on 8.5" x 11" paper. The deadline for ad copy is July 15, 2003.
2. Demonstration Games
If we don't have your game running, we may be able to help you get
together a demo guide, or assist in the coordination of the demo teams.
3. Exhibitor Tables
$50 per table, companies can pay for up to half the cost of tablespace
with merchandise ($25 per table). Tablespace may be registered
on the website. Priority will be given to past exhibitors and then as orders are received.
The convention is this summer, but you may commit to sponsorship
now, and we'll send you a reminder 30-45 days before the convention.
I will be attending GenCon and can visit with you there to save on shipping costs.
